Emil Palikot

I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Northeastern University. I am also a research affiliate at Golub Capital Social Impact Lab at Stanford University.
I study AI, platforms, and labor markets: how digital technologies reshape work, hiring, and economic opportunity. My current work covers the economics of digitization in labor markets, platform design for matching, and causal inference with machine learning to understand worker behavior. Applications include AI-assisted recruitment, online reputation systems, digital labor platforms, algorithmic hiring, and technology interventions for career development and social mobility.
